About

Giuseppe Campesi obtained a J.D. in Law from the University of Bologna; a M.A. in Sociology of Law from the International Institute for the Sociology of Law (Oñati, Spain); and a Ph.D. in Legal Philosophy and Sociology of Law from the University of Milan. From 2007 to 2010 he was research fellow at the Department of Theory and History of Law of the University of Florence; during the academic year 2010/2011 he was Jean Monnet Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute.
He was also Ph.D. visiting researcher at the Centre d'Études des Normes Juridiques of the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris); visiting research fellow at the Instituto de Investigaciones Juridicas of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Mexico City); visiting research fellow at the Universidad de Palermo (Buenos Aires) and at the Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales (Buenos Aires).
He is member of the editorial board of the journal “Studi sulla Questione Criminale” and collaborates also with the journal “Jura Gentium. Rivista di Filosofia del Diritto Internazionale e della Politica Globale”.
