About

I'm graduate cum laude in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bari on 20.10.1999.
I achieved the title of “Doctor of research” , Ph.D. equivalent, in "History of Law" at the Faculty of Law of University of Macerata (XIX cicle).

I'm recognised expert and Assistant Professor of History of Italian Law, History of the Medieval and Modern Law, "Ius Commune" and History of the modern codifications at the II Faculty of Law of University of Bari (branch of Taranto).


I awarded scholarship for tuition fee and living expenses at Max Planck Institute (Frankfurt), where I studied the Consolatio Peccatorum attributed to Giacomo Palladino (1349-1417) and its European diffusion in the middle age.

I have been Rapporteur in international conferences, such us: the Italian – Polish conference on "The family and the society yesterday and today", held in Bialystok (Poland) on the 27 november 2004 with a relation entitled: "Integration of the foreigner in Europe. From the right of 'albinaggio' to the protection of the familiar unity"; international convention on "the security in multicultural Europe", Jòsefòw (Polland), 24-25 april 2006 with a relation entitled "The policy of security in modern Europe"; international convention on "The new frontiers of Law in the multicultural society" Tirana (Albania), 11 april 2008 with a relation entitled " The problem of the limitation of government power in Europe between the old and new regime" (acts in press).

I have been Rapporteur in conference on “the civic uses in the land of Otranto between history and topicality”, held in Massafra (Taranto) on the 7 February 2009, with a relation entlited : “Civic uses and abolition of feudalism in the land of Otranto during the French Decade” (acts in press) organized by the Association of the Lawyers enrolled at the bar of Taranto.

I have participated to PRIN 2005-2007 - national scientific responsible Prof. Armando De Martino - cofinanced by Ministry of the University and the Scientific Research on the topic "Models of justice and exceptional procedures in European legal experience".

I actually partecipate to annual PRIN (october 2008-october 2009 with a personal engagement of only 6 months) - national scientific responsible Prof. Mario Ascheri - cofinancied by Ministry of the University and the Scientific Research on the topic "the jurisprudence of the Great Civil Courts of the Reign of the Two Sicilies".

I have published a book concerning the biografy of "Genuzio Bentini", an italian criminal lawyer lived in the fist part of XIX century; a work about the exercise of lawyer profession in Italy durig the fascim; a work about the social and economic conditions of Terra d’Otranto during the French decade; a work concerning the administration of municipalities in Southern Italy between old and new regime.
